On the 9th January Year 7 were kindly invited to Abbey College to participate in a range of lesson sampling activities. We believe such activity days provide valuable experiences for the children in helping them to prepare for their transition to secondary school.
Everyone had great fun making bath bombs in Science, candle holders in Technology and star biscuits in HE. We enjoyed being creative in Art and we developed our skills in PE and learned how to throw a foam javelin. Finally we used photoshop and special effects to create a digital image of a celebrity.
We would like to say a big thank you to the canteen staff who provided us with a tasty break and to all of the teachers and pupils who made us feel very welcome.
