Principal's Welcome

Welcome to the Whitehouse Primary School website.

We are very proud of our school and are honoured that so many parents entrust us with the care and education of their children. We have four key values which underpin who we are as a school and what we strive to achieve.

Our values are:

  1. To be a happy and healthy environment.
  2. To develop skilled learners and flexible thinkers.
  3. To value partnerships both locally and globally.
  4. To inspire high aspirations and achievements.

We hope as you look through this website you can see these values behind everything that we do. You can watch the video below to get more of a flavour of what life is like at Whitehouse!

Best wishes,

D Blain

(Acting Principal)

Positive Value of the Month

October is RESPONSIBLE

This month our positive value is responsible. Responsible means we are dependable, reliable and take care of things in our charge. It also means we follow instructions and advice to make sure everyone stays safe.

Internet Safety: Each month our ICT team are going to publish a Whitehouse Primary Online Safety Newsletter.  All information is up to date and there will be lots of tips and advice to help keep everyone safe online. Be sure to download it and share important information with your children.

Right of the Month

Article 27

"Every child has the right to a standard of living that is good enough to meet their physical and social needs and support their development."

During the month of October, we remember the charities we support on an annual basis. These charities work to ensure that every child has an adequate standard of living.

Toilet Twinning - We have twinned our toilets with toilets in other countries to improve hygiene standards for children in remote villages.

Care for Cambodia - We sponsor a teacher, who not only teaches pupils curriculum subjects, but also health and hygiene.

Water Aid - Water Aid help to ensure children and families across the world have access to clean water.
