Principal's Welcome

Welcome to the Whitehouse Primary School website.

It is now time to enrol your child for admission to either Nursery or P1, beginning September 2020. Enrolment can be completed online until 12noon on 30th January 2020 at:

On Monday 20th January at 9:30am you are welcome to visit the school for a ‘walkabout’ if you wish to see the school again before making a decision about sending your child to Whitehouse. The computer room will also be available if any parents would like to access the school computers to complete the application forms.

We are very proud of our school and are honoured that so many parents entrust us with the care and education of their children. We have four key values which underpin who we are as a school and what we strive to achieve.

Our values are:

  1. To be a happy and healthy environment.
  2. To develop skilled learners and flexible thinkers.
  3. To value partnerships both locally and globally.
  4. To inspire high aspirations and achievements.

We hope as you look through this website you can see these values behind everything that we do. You can watch the video below to get more of a flavour of what life is like at Whitehouse!

Best wishes,

D Blain

(Acting Principal)

Children’s Mental Health Week-  3 - 9 February - Find Your BRAVE

Bravery comes in all shapes and sizes and is different for everyone. Bravery can be about sharing worries and asking for help, trying something new or pushing yourself outside your comfort zone. Finding your Brave can build your confidence, self-esteem and make you feel good about yourself. Life often throws challenges our way. Bravery isn’t about coping alone or holding things in. It’s about finding positive ways to deal with things that might be difficult, overcoming physical and mental challenges and looking after yourself.

Right of the Month

"Every child has the right to reliable information from a variety of sources, and governments should encourage the media to provide information that children can understand. Governments must help protect children from materials that could harm them." (Article 17)

This month our ICT Mentors will help us celebrate Safer Internet Day when we will be encouraged to work 'Together for a Better Internet'. Pupils will also be reminded of the SMART rules.
