We did it!! Today we had the assessors from Eco Schools NI visit our school for the first time. The Eco Team, along with the whole school, have been working so hard on our 3 Eco topics of Waste, Healthy Living and Outdoor Learning. The assessors, Cathy and Joanne, spoke to the Eco team and asked them lots of questions about the work we have done this year and the difference we have been making to our planet. They looked at our evidence, talked to children in some classes and had a walk round our school grounds. They decided that we had done an amazing job and announced that we had achieved our first ever Green Flag award. Well done to the Eco team and all the children and staff at Whitehouse. Working together as a team has made a big difference to our community and therefore to the planet as well! We are so very proud of you all!
