Year 7 STEM - Towers Challenge

22nd Nov 2018

What is the tallest tower you can make from a sheet of A4 paper? But you are not allowed to use glue, tape, paperclips, etc.; the only things you can use are one sheet of paper and a pair of scissors. The paper can be cut, shaped or folded in any way.

Year 7 STEM Science group had great fun watching videos to develop their skills in tower building. They then had a challenge to see who could build the tallest tower. Logan thought it was lots of fun and he was able to make it taller than he thought. Lewis thought it was challenging and enjoyed learning how he could attach the paper together without sticking it.
