Year 7 RADAR Trip

28th Feb 2018

This year was our first trip to RADAR, (Risk Avoidance and Danger Awareness Resource).  RADAR is Northern Ireland’s first and only, life sized, interactive safety and life skills education centre. We were involved in a  series of interactive sessions based on road safety, E safety, personal safety, safety in the home, fire safety and the consequences of anti social behaviour. Here are some of our opinions and evaluations of the visit:

I really enjoyed the visit because I think it was very helpful for the future. I definitely think Year 7 should go again. Alex

I thought the trip was really good and that you should go again next year because you had lots of fun and you learnt lots of information. It was interesting and it was set out in a really good way. Megan

I liked it because it gave a lot of information about life safety skills. Josh

The trip was really good and I thought it was a really cool idea for an indoor town for safety learning. I enjoyed all the activities they arranged for us. Charlie

Due to the positive feedback from our pupils the good news is we have provisionally booked a date for next year already :-)
