NSPCC Ant & Dec Assembly

3rd Jun 2020

The NSPCC are running a virtual assembly featuring content from their Speak out Stay safe (SOSS) programme as well as tailored and relevant content related to the current situation.

The assembly will kick off with a special message from TV presenters Ant & Dec and a special appearance from comedian and children’s books author David Walliams, followed by advice and support from our Speak out Stay safe team and a Q&A with Vicky Ford MP, Minister for Children and Families, featuring questions from children.

The content of the assembly will be aimed at children aged 7-11 years old (KS2) and it will focus on anxiety, including the worries that children are facing right now, why they may feel anxious or worried and ways they could be supported, for example reaching out to a trusted adult or calling Childline.

The assembly will be shared on the NSPCC facebook page on Friday 5 June from 9:30am so make sure you tune in and spread the word about it/share it among friends and family.
