Welcome to our website. We are very proud of our pupils and the success of our school. We aim to serve our community by providing a high quality of education for all our pupils. At the very centre of all we do, are the children in our care. Our intention is that this website will give all who visit it a very clear impression of what our school aims to achieve.
We hope as you explore the website that you get all the information you require. If, however, you need any questions answered please contact the school office or arrange an interview. We are always very willing to welcome visitors to our school.
Please be aware that the school office will be closed between the 1st July and the 21st August.
In June 2016 we concluded a very ambitious and successful school development plan. We have experienced many significant benefits for our pupils and the wider community as a result of this plan. In October 2016 we hope to launch our next three-year plan. Pupils, parents and staff have worked over the past six months to draft this new document. The next few years look really exciting!
In June we said goodbye to our Year 7 pupils. They have achieved so much and it makes us very proud. They are heading off to six secondary schools and eight grammar schools with great confidence.
Before they left, however, we provided a month of varied activities that developed their wider skills and stimulated their creativity as learners. Our hope is that even though they are moving on that they will always see themselves as part of the ‘Whitehouse family’.
At Whitehouse Primary School we want to provide all our pupils with an album of happy 'snaps' from their childhood. In many ways this June's wide range of events represents our school's ethos in a very concrete way. 'Learning to Live' is our vision statement. Our school strives for high academic standards but we never compromise in nurturing our pupils' enjoyment of life.
Thank you for visiting our site.

Positive Value of the Month
This summer's value word is Caring. Over the holidays the Olympics in Rio will capture the world's imagination and inspire many to compete to achieve their very best performance.
I would like to encourage all our pupils to strive to be 'Gold Medal' friends. When we watch the Olympics it is wonderful to see the way the crowds encourage all the athletes. Not every competitor can win a gold medal but they are all winners to have reached the games. I would love to hear stories from this summer of how our children are good friends and encouragers over the coming two months.
Internet Safety Hint:
When using the internet over the summer take care! Remember to think carefully and use the internet safety rules that your teachers have taught you during the year.
Also if a member of your family or a friend is being unwise on the internet let your parent or trusted adult know. The most caring thing you can do is to get help as soon as possible.
We wish them all every happiness and success in their new schools.
We are delighted to announce that the Giants' House has won our final house competition of the school year.
