Today in room 9 and 10 we were learning all about lines of symmetry. These can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal. Some shapes have 1 or more lines but some have none at all.
We all took part in a practical session. Here we used bricks to create a pattern on one side of squared paper. We then had to create the reflection on the other side of the line, using more bricks. Afterwards we used mirrors to check we were correct. At the end of the lesson we had to use colouring pencils to create one final design showing a vertical line of symmetry.
This was a fun lesson and really helped us all learn a little more about Symmetry.
